Allied Hori Sdn Bhd is a Malaysian electronics manufacturing services (EMS) and precision plastic injection moulding company based in Rawang, Selangor. Founded in 1994, it takes products from design and mould fabrication through injection moulding, PCB assembly, decorative finishing and electronic assembly in a single factory, serving medical device, automotive, consumer electronics and IoT customers.
Allied Hori’s factory is in Rawang, Selangor, Malaysia, north of Kuala Lumpur, with a production floor of more than 8,000m². Manufacturing, mould fabrication, injection moulding and electronic assembly are all carried out at this site. Customers can book a factory tour through the contact page.
Allied Hori was founded in 1994 and has more than 30 years of experience in precision plastic injection moulding and electronics manufacturing. Over that time it has grown into an integrated EMS and moulding operation with a team of more than 200 people.
Allied Hori offers seven integrated services: product design and development, mould design and fabrication, plastic injection moulding, printed circuit board assembly (PCBA), decorative spray painting and printing, electronic manufacturing services (EMS), and CT scan and X-ray inspection. Because all seven operate in one factory, customers can consolidate their supply chain with a single manufacturing partner.
Allied Hori operates injection moulding presses ranging from 10 to 350 tonnes across a production floor of more than 8,000m², supported by a team of more than 200 people. This press range covers small precision components through to larger enclosures and housings.
Yes. Mould design and fabrication is an in-house capability at Allied Hori, so tooling is engineered, built and maintained in the same factory that runs production. This shortens feedback loops between mould design, trial and volume moulding, and keeps accountability for part quality with one supplier.
Yes. Allied Hori provides printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) and electronic manufacturing services (EMS) alongside its injection moulding operation. This means moulded enclosures, decorated parts and assembled electronics can be produced and integrated in one facility rather than managed across separate suppliers.
Yes. Allied Hori provides component sourcing and BOM management as part of its PCB assembly service — parts are sourced, inspected and staged for the line, with a BOM and DFM review before production to verify part availability and design testability. Customers can hand over a bill of materials rather than managing component supply themselves.
Allied Hori supports both surface-mount (SMT) and through-hole PCB assembly, using automated component placement and reflow soldering alongside manual through-hole work, built to IPC-A-610 workmanship standards. Assembled boards can ship standalone or move directly into box-build assembly within the same factory.
Allied Hori builds automated optical inspection (AOI), in-circuit testing (ICT) and functional testing into its PCB assembly line, with full lot traceability maintained across production. Finished units from box-build assembly are also functionally tested before packing, so both bare-board assemblies and complete products leave the factory verified.
Yes. Allied Hori supports new product introduction (NPI) and pilot builds, and its assembly operations scale from pilot volumes to full production runs. This lets customers validate a custom PCBA on the same line — and under the same certified quality system — that will later run volume production.
Yes. Allied Hori’s electronic manufacturing services cover sub-assembly, box-build integration and complete final assembly — integrating boards, wiring and mechanical parts, then assembling enclosure, display and power into a finished unit. Units are functionally tested, packed and kitted with export-ready logistics, delivered either as sub-assemblies for customer integration or as finished products.
Allied Hori assembles consumer electronics boards, automotive control modules, IoT device PCBAs and medical device electronics, and carries out final assembly of complete consumer devices, automotive modules, medical devices and IoT products. Automotive and medical work runs under its IATF 16949 and ISO 13485 certified quality systems respectively.
Allied Hori holds four certifications: ISO 9001 (quality management), ISO 14001 (environmental management), IATF 16949 (automotive quality management) and ISO 13485 (medical device quality management). Together these cover the quality-system requirements of the regulated industries Allied Hori serves, including automotive and medical devices.
Yes. Allied Hori holds ISO 13485, the quality management system standard for medical devices, alongside ISO 9001. It manufactures plastic components and electronic assemblies for medical device customers under this quality system.
Yes. Allied Hori’s quality management system is certified to IATF 16949, the international standard for automotive production and relevant service parts, in addition to ISO 9001. It supplies moulded components and electronic assemblies to automotive customers under this system.
Allied Hori operates in-house CT scan and X-ray inspection, which allows internal features, assemblies and moulded parts to be examined non-destructively — including geometry and defects that surface measurement cannot reach. This inspection capability sits alongside the quality management systems certified to ISO 9001, IATF 16949 and ISO 13485.
Allied Hori serves four industry groups: medical devices, automotive, consumer electronics, and IoT and other connected products. Its certifications map to these markets — ISO 13485 for medical devices and IATF 16949 for automotive — while its integrated moulding and EMS capabilities support consumer electronics and IoT programmes.
Yes. Product design and development is one of Allied Hori’s core services, covering the early engineering work needed to take a concept toward manufacturable parts. Because design, mould fabrication and production are in one factory, design decisions are informed by moulding and assembly reality from the start.
